Issued by: Department of Commerce Division 6 Release Date: 2017/11/15 Department of Commerce, Ministry of Economic Affairs to Host "2017 Southeast Asia Cross-border E-Commerce Summit" at the National Taiwan Affairs Hospital International Convention Center on November 16, 2017, The Forum invited five business officials from the Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines to come to Taiwan to share their information on electricity supplier policies in various markets in Southeast Asia in order to promote exchanges between the two sides in the e-commerce industry. Taiwan's E-commerce enterprises have become more aware of the latest development potentials and business opportunities in Southeast Asia's E-commerce market and enhanced the international perspective and competitiveness of E-commerce operators. Since the introduction of the "new South Policy", which has come to fruition over the past year or so, many outstanding e-commerce enterprises in Taiwan have successively opened up markets to Southeast Asian countries. For example, PChome established the C2C auction platform PChome Thai in Thailand, momo established TVD momo in Thailand, uitox has good results in establishing e-commerce platforms in Singapore and Malaysia and setting up Taiwan-based e-commerce platform in Mamibuy in Indonesia. Now it is a good time for Taiwan's e-commerce enterprises to advance the market in Southeast Asia. As of today (106), six joint marketing campaigns have been held in the Asean countries under the guidance and guidance of the Commercial Department of the Ministry of Economic Affairs to assist one platform vendor in the operation. Six Taiwanese products have been set up in overseas e-commerce platforms Area to assist Taiwanese manufacturers to set up more than 300 Taiwanese brands and 80,000 overseas products with impressive results. 「新南向政策」推出一年多來逐漸開花結果,許多臺灣優秀的電商企業,已紛紛至東南亞國家開拓市場,像PChome在泰國成立C2C拍賣平台PChome Thai、momo在泰國合資成立TVD momo、uitox在新加坡、馬來西亞的電商平台設立臺灣商品專區、Mamibuy在印尼建立當地語言的電商平台等,皆有不錯的成績,現在正是臺灣電商企業前進東南亞市場的良好時機。
今(106)年截至目前,在經濟部商業司的輔導帶領之下,已在東協國家舉辦了6場聯合行銷活動、協助1家平臺廠商落地經營、於海外電商平台設立6個臺灣商品專區、協助臺灣廠商於海外上架超過300個臺灣品牌、80,000項商品,成果斐然,也證明東南亞電商市場無窮的潛力與發展的可能性。
本次「2017東南亞跨境電商高峰論壇」除廣邀國內電商企業參與,更隆重邀請到東南亞5國電商政府官員及公協會來臺,藉由重量級貴賓們分享在地第一手市場情資、最新政策與未來發展方向,從東南亞各國政策、市場環境與消費趨勢,掌握市場布局先機與成功關鍵!
