親愛的朋友：

雨林對人類及其他物種的生存至為重要：

雨林能吸收百分之十五人為排放的二氧化碳

雨林能提供食物給十六億世界最貧窮的人

雨林有百分之七十的植物有抗癌功能

每四秒就有一個足球場大小的林地被破壞

近五十年來就有三分之一的雨林消失

這項保護雨林的簽署由英國王儲查爾斯王子發起，
將在年底(十二月)的哥本哈根聯合國氣候變遷會議
上呈給全世界的領導人， 
以共同想出一個阻止氣候變遷的方法，包括終止森林破壞。

雨林砍伐造成五分之一的二氧化碳排放，
比所有的交通工具加總起來的量還多，
查爾斯王子呼籲世界領袖一起保護重要的生態系統，
 他希望此次哥本哈根舉行的會議，
能設立一個新的基金機制—富有的國家付費給貧窮的國家--如此他們就可以不用砍森林維生。

雨林對抗暖化是極端重要的，
他說：雨林能吸收人為的五分之一二氧化碳排放量，
但現在雨林正以四秒鐘消失一個足球場的速率被破壞中。我們必須想辦法讓大眾瞭解：這些活的樹比砍伐下來死的樹更有價值，以防止人們濫砍。

Stopping the deforestation is the most solid way to show our love to our beloved ones!

Save the tropical Rainforest and Be vegetarian to help halt the global warming.
If we don’t stop the rainforest destruction, we will be really sorry later on when it’s too late.

It’s only when everyone on earth helps do his/her own duty by being vegan and the governments of different countries join together seting up regulations and rules to effectively halt the global warming, and be responsible globally, can the ecology of earth be recovered.

Florida Gov. DeSantis signs 6-week abortion ban

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a bill that would ban most abortions in the state after six weeks, unless the state Supreme Court overturns its previous precedent on abortion. The legislation would make Florida one of the most restrictive states in the country to obtain an abortion, following moves by other Republican-led states to curb the procedure since the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v. 鷹嘴豆杏鮑菇糙米燉飯

Ingredients: - 1 cup of chickpeas, cooked - 1 cup of brown rice, cooked - 1 container of shimeji mushrooms, sliced - 1/2 cup of sliced almonds - 2 tablespoons of olive oil - 2 cloves of garlic, minced - 1 teaspoon of ground cumin - 1/2 teaspoon of ground corjii mushrooms (also known as king oyster mushrooms or almond mushrooms), sliced - 2 cloves of garlic, minced - 1 tablespoon of olive oil - Salt and pepper, to taste Instructions: 1. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. 2. Add the sliced shimeji mushrooms to the pan and sauté for about 5-6 minutes until they are tender and lightly browned. Add salt and pepper to taste. 3. In a separate pan, stir-fry the cooked chickpeas until they are lightly browned and crispy. 4. To serve, plate the cooked brown rice and top with the sautéed shimeji mushrooms and crispy chickpeas.
